These guys suck. Tried to take back my unused weed eater and they claim they don't accept returns and you have to ship it back to the manufacturer.

I am writing to share with you my experience today with one of your dealers (CNY Power Equipment in Liverpool, NY). I have a IS1500z that I purchase just under two years ago which I have been very happy with. The right wheel motor started leaking fluid this spring and I took in into CNY PE for service today and was flat out refused service since I had not purchased my mower there. When I arrived there I told them I would like to have my mower checked out as it was leaking fluid. They said it would be a couple of days since they were busy. I replied “No problem, but I need to get it in since the warranty expires at the end of this month”. There reply “Did you buy it from us?” I said “No, why”. They replied “You need to take it back to the dealer you bought it from”. My response was” You can’t service it since I bought it somewhere else?”, they said “No, you need to take it back to the dealer you purchased it from”.Quite frankly at that point I was speechless at their remarks and how rudely I was being treated so I left and took it to the dealer I did but it from. I went to CNY as they were the closest service dealer to my home and the dealer I purchased it from is about 30 minutes out of town. I sure will not be returning to CNY Power equipment any time soon.
